Bloom Inc. and What it entails

Bloominc.art is an ecommerce website at heart, but its way more than that. It is a way to share the beautiful african culture and heritage with the world through art. The website acts as an intermediary between art lovers and talented african artists thus creating a chance for the artists to express themselves, be heard, recognised and still earn from it.

Challenges and Requirements

The Project required an understanding of the art world so as to provide all the relevant information that pertains to every piece. Time provided by the client was abit on the short side so time management procedures had to be put in place.

My Aproach to the Project

Agile project management where I focussed on delivering the maximum value against the time provided. Breaking down the project into smaller pieces and prioritising them in order of importance, created a simple workflow enabling me to deliver expected results. I had to collaborate with the client alot since it was my first art project and being as clueless as I am to the art world it seemed very neccessary. As per the clients request I had to divide the project into two major deliverables, The first and already delivered part allows physical art to be purchased through the website. The Second Part which depends on the success of the first is to create an NFT marketplace that allows selling of Digital art through the website.
